Phlebotomy Changes from 1st July 2019

Important message for patients needing a blood test from 1 July 2019

From 1st July 2019, blood tests, requested by us, for you, will be carried out by our own practice staff at the surgery.

By providing the service in-house, we hope this will help us to improve our services to you.

Our staff will advise you of the booking process when you are requested to have a blood test.

Serving You

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Practice Statement– Named GP

All patients at Greasby Group Practice have a named GP which will be one of the five partners. You can ring and ask who your named GP is and a Receptionist will be happy to advise you of this.

If you would prefer a different GP to the one you have been allocated, please contact the practice.  We will endeavor to accommodate your request, where we can.

By having a named GP does not prevent you from seeing any other GP at the practice.
