Patient Notice
The Accident and Emergency Department at Arrowe Park Hospital (A&E) is for people who need URGENT medical attention only.
Please ensure you contact the right service when we are closed. One of our key aims is to reduce unnecessary attendances at A&E; this would allow more money to be invested in other patient services. If you are unsure you can ring NHS Direct  0845 4647 who will advise you or you can use their symptom checker on line.

The Walk in Centre
Can help you with any immediate advice you may need and does not require an appointment. It is open from 6:30 to 22:00 Monday to Friday and 9:00 to 22:00 Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays.

When the Surgery is closed Emergency GP cover is supplied by:
GP Out of Hours at Arrowe Park Hospital, 0151 678 8496

If you change address or contact numbers please inform the practice, if you are outside the practice area you may be asked to change to another surgery.

Please bring along the following information:

  • NHS number
  • Contact details of Previous GP

  • If you are from abroad, details of where you lived and when you arrived in the UK

Disabled Access
There are reserved car parking spaces marked near the front door. Wheelchair access to the building is via a ramp near the front entrance and allows access to the treatment room from outside in an emergency. Patient services are provided at ground floor level, though a lift is provided to access the first floor. A disabled patients’ WC can be found near reception and another is available on the first floor. If access proves difficult to any patients suggestions for improvement will be considered.

Disability Discrimination Act 1995
Every effort is made to make the premises and services accessible to all. There is also a mobile hearing loop for those requiring this service. Please advise members of staff if you have any specific needs.
