TELEPHONE LINES

THE TECHNICAL ISSUES WE HAD WITH OUR PHONE LINES HAVE NOW BEEN RECTIFIED.

WE APOLOGISE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THIS CAUSED, UNFORTUNATELY WE WERE TOTALLY RELIANT ON THE SERVICE PROVIDER TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

CAN WE PLEASE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT CALL THE SURGERY BETWEEN 08:00 - 10:30 FOR NON-URGENT ISSUES AS THIS IS THE BUSIEST TIME IN THE DAY FOR APPOINTMENTS.

Appointments

All appointments routine and urgent are now triaged via eConsult. This is helping us to prioritise patients clinical need and ensures you are treated by the most appropriate clinician. We will respond by text, phone, email, video or face to face consultation, whichever is the most appropriate. If you are unable to submit an eConsult then our reception staff will arrange a call back to give help or where appropriate submit a form on your behalf.

As well as medical advice, you can use eConsult for:

| Fit notes  |  GP letters  |  Medical reports  |  Medication reviews  |  Test results |

Practice Nurses

The practice nurses are qualified general nurses who have decided to specialise in primary care work. If you need to see the nurse please ring the surgery to make an appointment. The nurse works closely with the doctors and they are committed to promoting good health and preventing illness.

As we have Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants  it is very helpful if you can give some idea of the type of help that you need in order to book the right appointment for you.

Test Results

If you have undergone tests or X-rays ordered by the practice, you can request the results via e-consult or by ringing the practice directly.

Telephone Access

The practice tries to ensure the telephone will be answered promptly and that there are sufficient staff to do this. Please listen to the messages on the phone as these are updated regularly.
